Any paid-in-full term, including the 1-year term, can be split into monthly payments at checkout through Klarna or Affirm. You keep the paid-in-full price, the provider handles the installments, and your plate ships as soon as the order is confirmed. Monthly payments are not offered on the yearly-billed 2 and 3-year terms.

Six tests, every metric behind them
Every test runs in the Hawkin Capture app on your tablet and syncs to Hawkin Cloud. You see the force-time curve live, get validated metrics the moment the test ends, and every result is stored against the athlete for trends, reports and export.
Weigh‑In
Step on and stand still. Foundation records bodyweight for the session so every force metric that follows is scaled to the athlete that day.
Countermovement Jump
The most widely used test in sport. A dip and a maximal jump with hands on hips, and the full force-time curve behind it: how the athlete loads, brakes and pushes off.
Squat Jump
From a held squat, straight up with no countermovement. Isolates concentric force production and, alongside the CMJ, shows how much an athlete gains from the stretch-shortening cycle.
CMJ Rebound
A countermovement jump straight into a second jump off the landing. Slow and fast stretch-shortening cycles in one rep, with the first jump setting the intensity of the rebound.
Multi‑Rebound
Continuous ankle-dominant hops over a set count (10/5 or 5/3 protocols). The fastest read on reactive strength and lower-limb stiffness.
Isometric tests
Mid-thigh pull, belt squat, the ASH shoulder test and other isometric setups against an immovable bar. Peak force and how quickly it builds, with no maximal lift required.
Capture 2.0 is coming
The next generation of the Hawkin app launches at the end of October. Foundation runs on it from day one, and it opens a clear upgrade path to more feature-rich software as your program grows. Same plate, same login. More soon.
Two plates when you need them
Left/right asymmetry, drop jumps and the full Hawkin test library need two plates. Dual Wireless Force Plates pick up where Foundation leaves off, on the same login, with your data history intact.

Up and running in four steps
Place the plate on a hard, flat surface where it's stable on all four corners. Allow it about 20 minutes to acclimate to the room before testing.
One USB cable from the plate to your tablet (an M-series iPad or a newer Android tablet). The cable powers the plate, so there's no power button and no pairing.
Sign in with the same login you'll use for Hawkin Cloud. You'll get an email to set your password before your plate arrives.
Do a test jump yourself to confirm your bodyweight reads correctly and data is streaming. Then bring in the athletes.

Good to know before you buy
What do I need to run it?
A compatible tablet with the Hawkin Capture app installed. The plate connects and powers over a single USB cable, so there's no battery to charge and nothing to pair.
Which tablets are compatible?
Any iPad with an Apple M-series chip: that's the iPad Pro from 2021 on and the iPad Air from 2022 on. The standard iPad and iPad mini are not supported. On Android, newer tablets with a USB-C port. Not sure about yours? Speak to sales and we'll check it before you order.
Which tests does Foundation run?
Countermovement Jump, CMJ Rebound, Multi‑Rebound, Squat Jump, Weigh‑In and isometric tests, with the full set of metrics for each. See the tests.
How big is it, and what's it made of?
604 by 504 mm and 40 mm tall (about 24 by 20 by 1.6 inches), 13 kg (28.7 lb), with an aluminum body and four adjustable stainless-steel feet. Full spec sheet.
Is anything limited?
No. There are no limits on athletes, staff or data export.
Is there a battery?
No. The plate runs off the cable to your tablet. Plug it in and it's on.
How do the terms work?
Foundation is leased. Choose 1, 2 or 3 years and pay in full at checkout, or pay year by year on the 2 and 3-year terms. Every term includes the plate, its cable, the software license and support for the full period. Shipping within the US is $99. Toward the end of the term we'll reach out about renewing.
What happens after I pay?
You get a receipt by email right away, your order lands with our team, and we reach out within one business day to confirm shipping details and book your onboarding.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes, on any paid-in-full term, including the 1-year term. Choose Klarna or Affirm as the payment method at checkout and the total is split into monthly payments. The provider sets approval, the number of payments and any interest, and shows them before you confirm. The yearly-billed 2 and 3-year terms are invoiced by Hawkin once a year and can't be split monthly.
Can I pay by bank transfer or purchase order?
Bank debit (ACH) is available at checkout alongside card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. If your organization needs a purchase order or an invoice first, speak to sales and we'll set it up.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not through this checkout yet. Online ordering and the $99 shipping rate are for US addresses only. International shipping opens in November. If you're outside the US, speak to sales and we'll set up your order.
Is tax included in the price?
Prices are shown before tax. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes, on both sides. On software, Capture 2.0 launches at the end of October and brings an upgrade path to more feature-rich licenses on the same plate. On hardware, move up to Dual Wireless Force Plates for left/right asymmetry, drop jumps and the full Hawkin test library. Same login, and your data comes with you.
